Aside from our great atmosphere and coffee, what makes Combibos great is our people.

At the heart of the business are the founders/owners of Combibos, the Hanss family. Father, Mother, Son, and Daughter, each plays their part in making and maintaining the Combibos our students, locals, and staff have come to love.

Rob (Dad) prides himself in the art of pouring the perfect espresso and passes his knowledge and passion for coffee onto every member of staff (and many curious customers). Sue (Mum) can usually be found in the kitchen cooking up the best breakfast in Oxford or baking one of her heavenly homemade cakes.

Martin (Marty) is usually alongside Mum in the kitchen, creating one of his amazing breakfast specials. Also, take a look around the shop and appreciate the interior- much of the carpentry is his handy work. Sam (Sammy) can be found at the front of the shop, a master of customer service as well as pouring out the perfect latte (finished off lovingly with a latte art heart). Can a barista anywhere else make you feel as loved? We think not.
